“Bay-Cons”

- 2 cups pecans
- 1 tablespoon liquid smoke
- 1/2 teaspoon sea salt
- 3 tablespoons nutritional yeast
- 1 tablespoon maple syrup (or dark/amber agave)
- Preheat oven at lowest setting possible.
- Mix all ingredients together in a bowl and coat pecans well. Place in single layer on baking sheet lined with parchment paper or sprayed with oil.
- Bake in oven until nuts are dry to touch – usually about 45-60 minutes.
Use in sandwiches or salads as a vegan bacon substitute. May be kept in sealed container for several days.
