Ingredients:
- 1 can chickpeas, rinsed, drained, and lightly dried between 2 sheets of paper towel
- 2 teaspoons canola oil
- 2 teaspoons cinnamon
- ½ teaspoon ground nutmeg
- ¼ teaspoon salt
- 1 ½ tablespoons maple syrup
Instructions:
- Preheat oven to 400F and line baking sheet with parchment paper.
- Add chickpeas, oil, cinnamon, nutmeg and salt to mixing bowl and toss until well combined.
- Spread chickpea mixture in single layer on baking sheet and bake for 40 minutes.
- Remove chickpeas from oven and drizzle with maple syrup.
- Return chickpeas to oven and bake for an additional 5 minutes. Allow chickpeas to cool before serving.
