I was initially diagnosed with Prostate cancer in 2007. I wanted to run, but there was no place to go! After my surgery, the surgeon told me they had gotten all the cancer; he never explained there would be a very high chance of the cancer returning. One year later my PSA (prostate-specific antigen) started to rise. The doctor said that if I didn’t do radiation, my life would end in 1-2 years. He recommended the place owned by him and a group of oncologists for my radiation treatments. I went as far as having the “guidance beads” for the radiation therapy inserted into my prostate bed.

Shortly after this, a friend told me about the important work being done at The Block Center for Integrative Cancer Treatment. I did some research and liked their treatment philosophy of conventional treatments paired with IV vitamins, diet, and overall mind and body healing. I went to my initial consultation at The Block Center and they put me on IV vitamin therapy, an anti-inflammatory diet, and monitored my PSA. There were immediate positive changes. About 2 years later, and after 3 months of directed radiation while continuing IV vitamin therapy, I was finally cancer free.

I am continuing my vitamin therapy and monitoring with The Block Center and continue to be cancer-free. I exercise and follow the vitamin regime outlined by The Block Center. People keep telling me that I look like I’m only 60. Well I’m 76 and feeling great. I thank The Block Center for their individualized recommendations and care.
