High Energy Protein Balls

Makes 12-16

Ingredients:

  • 1 cup               rolled oats
  • 1/2 cup           almond butter
  • ¼ cup              cocoa powder
  • ¼ cup              agave
  • 1 cup               coconut flakes
  • 1/2 cup           ground flaxseed
  • 1/2 cup           mini chocolate chips (Vegan, approved sweetener, can omit)
  • 1 teaspoon       vanilla extract

For added protein, can add ¼ cup of protein powder

Instructions:

  1. Blend the dry ingredients together and set aside. Blend the wet ingredients and add the wet to the dry.
  2. Combine well and chill 30 minutes
  3. Roll into 1 inch bite size balls. Store in an airtight container in the fridge up to a week.
