We are happy to introduce the translated publication of Dr Block’s book, Life Over Cancer, into Korean. The book was translated by staff members of Holon Cancer Immune Center in Seoul, led by Dr Jong-Gyun Lee. The Holon Center’s website is http://www.isongdo.com. Publication of the volume was carried out by FirForest Publishing in Seoul, Korea (www.firforest.co.kr). This is the second authorized international translation of Life Over Cancer. The first was a translation into Hebrew done by Dr Jacob Shoham in Israel. Both translations are shown in this picture.
Integrative treatment for cancer patients in Korea is both an age-old tradition and an area for 21st-Century research and development. Korean Traditional Medicine has used natural herbs, acupuncture, diet and other therapies for centuries to treat patients with cancer and other conditions. This medical tradition has been brought up to date with research on adapting herbal and acupuncture treatments for patients being treated with chemotherapy, surgery and radiation. Integrative Cancer Therapies, the peer-reviewed journal of which Dr Block is Editor-in-Chief, has published many articles in this medical field by Korean researchers.
Now Dr Lee has made the innovative conceptual framework and comprehensive lifestyle recommendations of Life Over Cancer available to cancer patients in Korea, as well as Korean-speaking residents of the United States and other countries, who wish to expand their integrative therapeutic options. We sincerely hope that this volume is life-changing for patients and we salute Dr Lee and his team for their hard work in completing this challenging and important project!
