“Toum” Lebanese Garlic Paste Recipe

Ingredients

2 whole bulbs of garlic, peeled

½ cup fresh squeezed lemon juice

1 teaspoon sea salt

2-3 cups of canola oil to ‘fluff’ the paste

 

 

Instructions

  1. Place all garlic cloves and salt into food processor and mix
  2. Add canola oil in slowly to reach desired consistency ( fluffy is ideal)
  3. Add lemon juice while mixing
  4. Once all ingredients are mixed and you have reached your desired consistency

 

Enjoy on fish, crackers, as a dip for veggies or on sandwiches!
